James is the Director of Music at St Martin’s Church, Ruislip, where he plays the organ for 3 services per week, gives recitals, and trains the strong amateur choir.  He began learning the organ whilst at Merchant Taylor’s’ School, Northwood, under the guidance of Richard Hobson (Grosvenor Chapel, Mayfair) after discovering a passion for the instrument’s majestic and colourful repertoire. James holds the ARCO diploma in organ studies.
